SEAN HONG & TOMMY TAN

This committee is directly involved in securing essential funding for MoneyThink, including: acquiring funding for transportation to-and-from mentoring sites, member social activities, and on-campus financial workshops.

GABY GODINEZ & LUCY RICH

Busy during Fall and Spring quarter, members of this committee work hard towards creating a smooth, week-long recruitment process for interested applicants and prospective members.

AVA SCHAEFER & JACQUELINE CHEN

As part of this committee, members actively brainstorm engaging social activities, general meeting icebreakers throughout the year and plan an annual, Spring retreat to further facilitate positive morale amongst members.

A hands-on committee, members conduct necessary research on personal finance to formulate educational slide decks and lesson plans; once completed, the detailed curriculum functions as the foundation of mentoring on site.

Functioning as the main point of contact between MoneyThink and our high school partners, this committee highly focuses on the logistics involved in scheduling mentoring sessions and seeking new high school partners.

Working hand-in-hand with fellow committees, Outreach looks to expand MoneyThink’s presence amongst the UCLA community and actively communicates the importance of increasing financial literacy via social media platforms.
